Heather Bowen, Senior Manager, News Partnerships, at Twitter, was part of the PPA Decodes Platforms + Publishers breakfast briefing on March 30th 2022.

Heather has been working in the news industry for over a decade and now leads the relationships with UK news publishers at Twitter.

Prior to joining Twitter she worked in the newsroom, leading an award-winning social team and guiding engagement strategies for both regional and national publications at Reach PLC.

Here she tells us what is going on at Twitter that publishers should be aware of, what her view is on the current relationship between platforms and publishers and what media organisations should be thinking about when it comes to working with platforms.
